This is the big day for the opening of the SME Fair.
This is one of the biggest events organized by the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority, in partnership with Le Défi Media Group.Visitors will enjoy good business to Sunday 6th November.
The SME Fair (SMEs) is the appointment not to miss the Caudan Waterfront in Port Louis. Visitors will have the chance to visit some 114 stands, where exhibitors offer promotions on their products, from organic produce to the plants, through handicrafts, clothing, detergents and equipment used in cleaning home and vehicles. They will also discover new products that have recently been introduced in the market.
Some companies offer discounts of up to more than 50% on a range of items.For example, the company Standard Solar System Engineering Ltd. will market water tanks of 1000 liters to Rs 3950 instead of Rs 7 900. Several gifts and entertainment programs are also waiting for you. MauBank Ltd, the main sponsor of the event, will have a stand dedicated to the marketing of its services.
The inaugural ceremony of the SME Fair will be conducted by the Minister of Sunil Bholah Affairs, on Thursday, 3 November, at the Esplanade Basdeo Bissoondoyal at Caudan Waterfront in Port Louis, in the presence of the Lord Mayor Omar Khoolegan and Parama Valaydon President of Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Smeda). Radio Plus will be the main media partner of the fair. Besides promoting the event and action live, a special program is scheduled Saturday, November 5, between 11 and 13 hours.
